Online Gatherings

Eco Church Kōrero

To support church communities on the Eco Church journey, we host three online streams of Eco Church Kōrero open to the wider network:

Eco Church Kaihāpai Kōrero

This once a term online gathering is open to all Eco Church kaihāpai from churches around the country. The Kaihāpai Kōrero is a space for connection, sharing, encouragement and collaboration. We'll listen and share and learn together about the joys and challenges of being on the eco church journey.

Eco Church Conservation Kōrero

A kōrero with a distinct conservation kaupapa that connects with the core of what A Rocha is all about. This kōrero stream provides support to Eco Churches and A Rocha local groups working in the biodiversity and conservation space. It is for local group leaders and members, conservation leaders and volunteers, and church members wanting to get involved in biodiversity work and conservation projects in their local places.

Eco Church Partners Kōrero

A kōrero to support members of the Eco Church network who are passionate about nurturing and integrating sustainability, conservation, and caring for God's creation at a strategic network level. This kōrero space is for people involved in Christian NGOs, denominational network leaders and organisations that collaborate with or support creation care groups within churches.

Eco Church Wānanga

We offer online Eco Church wānanga four times a year on different topics, featuring guest speakers who can speak expertly on the topic to deepen our understanding as well as help church communities to engage with the topic and take practical action.

These wānanga sessions are usually summarised as a written resource on the Eco Church website or made available as recordings on the ARANZ YouTube channel.
