Going Zero Waste - a free community wānanga

  • Cashmere New Life 200 Colombo Street Christchurch, Canterbury, 8023 New Zealand (map)

This wānanga introduces the concept of linear vs circular systems of taking, making, selling, using and disposing of our stuff, demonstrating that there is a much bigger story to our stuff than just how we get rid of it.

We will investigate other more sustainable alternatives to this system and makes connections to Te Ao Māori values and practices and how they minimise our impact on creation.

Open to anyone wanting to explore ways to lower or eliminate their waste at home, work, or community space.

Brought to you by Cashmere New Life in partnership with A Rocha Aotearoa New Zealand and Para Kore Marae Inc. with funding support from Christchurch City Council’s Sustainability Fund.
